According to a report by Screen Rant, The Pokemon Company has stated that Pack Hourglasses will continue to reduce the delay between booster pack openings by one hour, regardless of the expansion. This clarification comes amidst speculation that a new currency might replace the hourglasses, but The Pokemon Company has assured that this will not happen with the anticipated 2025 expansion. Players can, therefore, continue to collect these hourglasses for use in future packs.

Pokemon TCG Pocket Pack Hourglasses Are Here to Stay

In the absence of Pack Hourglasses, players can still earn Pack Stamina by waiting for 12-hour intervals, allowing them to open two booster packs per day. Pack Hourglasses can be obtained by completing daily challenges and opening the Complimentary Item Set in the shop, which refreshes daily. Each Pack Hourglass reduces the Pack Stamina wait time by one hour, with 12 hourglasses needed to cover the full 12-hour interval, rounded up to the nearest hour. Besides Pack Hourglasses, Pokemon TCG Pocket includes various other currencies such as Wonder Hourglasses, Special, Event, and standard Shop Tickets, Poke Gold, Pack Points, and more.
