Pokémon Go Concludes Might and Mastery Season with Global Challenge

May 27,2025 Author: Benjamin

The Might and Mastery season in Pokémon Go is reaching its exciting conclusion, and Niantic is emphasizing the power of teamwork. From Tuesday, May 20th to Thursday, May 22nd, the Strength in Numbers Global Challenge encourages you to send as many Gifts as you can to your friends. This event not only fosters community spirit but also offers substantial rewards.

During this challenge, you can open up to 50 Gifts per day, increasing your chances of earning Stardust, items, and friendship boosts. More importantly, your participation helps the global community work towards a collective goal: unlocking giftable Special Research tickets for the upcoming Community Day Classic featuring Machop.

If the challenge is successfully completed by May 22nd, starting May 23rd, you'll have the opportunity to send these Machop Special Research tickets to any friend who has reached Great Friends status with you. These tickets can be gifted even if you haven't purchased one for yourself. Simply navigate to the in-game shop and share the Fighting-type excitement. Each trainer can gift up to 20 tickets per day, making it easy to be generous.

Pokémon Go Strength in Numbers EventThis event seamlessly transitions into the Community Day Classic: Machop on May 24th, from 2 pm to 5 pm local time. During this period, the Superpower Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild, and yes, the Shiny variant is back, offering everyone another chance to catch a green-glowing Machamp.

Evolving Machoke into Machamp up until May 31st will grant you a Machamp that knows Payback, a Dark-type Charged Attack that can give this classic Fighter an edge in various matchups. Alongside the Stardust bonuses, three-hour Incense and Lures, and limited-time Timed Research that includes a themed Machop encounter with enhanced Shiny odds, there's a wealth of activities to enjoy.

Prepare for this event by downloading Pokémon Go for free and visit the Pokémon Go Web Store to stock up on supplies in advance.
