Prey-Eating Horror

Devolver Digital's impressive Android game library, boasting titles like GRIS, Reigns: Her Majesty, Downwell, and Reigns: Game of Thrones, is about to expand. Carrion, the acclaimed "reverse-horror" game, is making its mobile debut on October 31st.

Initially released for PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One in July 2020, Carrion offers a unique take on the horror genre. Developed by Phobia Game Studio and published by Devolver Digital, this mobile version promises the same chilling experience.

Carrion Mobile: A Horror Story Reimagined

In Carrion, you embody a creature from a nightmare – you are the horror. Control a mysterious, red, amorphous blob, using tentacles to slither, claw, and devour anything in your path. This "reverse horror" game flips the script; instead of surviving terror, you are the terror.

Trapped within a high-security Relith Science research facility, you – The Monster – have escaped containment. Scientists' attempts to control you through DNA manipulation have failed. Now, you'll wreak havoc, escaping the facility by any means necessary.

Consume scientists, security guards, and anyone who stands in your way. Navigate vents, smash doors, and use your tentacles to hunt. Carrion on mobile delivers the same wave of panic and destruction as its PC counterpart. Progress through the game unlocks upgrades, enabling you to breach barricades and grow in size.

Fans of Metroidvania-style games will appreciate Carrion's blend of exploration and progression. The pixel art style gives the gore a surprisingly charming aesthetic.

Carrion on mobile offers a free trial. Unlock the full game and its DLC via a single in-app purchase. Pre-register on the Google Play Store now, or download it directly on October 31st.
