As a true OLED, the S85D delivers near-instantaneous response times, virtually infinite contrast ratios, and true blacks—superior to other panel types for most uses. Burn-in, a common concern, is rarely an issue with OLED TVs, especially compared to computer monitors with static displays.
The S85D also includes essential features for modern gaming: HDMI 2.1 ports and a native 120Hz panel for smooth 4K gaming at 120Hz on PS5 or Xbox Series X.
