May 25,2025Author: Emma
Great news for fans of My Time at Sandrock—the beloved farm life sim RPG is making its way to mobile devices! The upcoming beta test will be exclusively for Android users, but there's a catch: it's only happening in China for now. If you're unfamiliar with the game, My Time at Sandrock is the sequel to the 2019 hit, My Time at Portia, developed by Pathea Games. It was released on PC in 2023 and is published by PM Studios and Focus Entertainment on Steam. For the mobile version in China, Conscience Studio is taking the helm.
When Is the My Time at Sandrock Android Beta Test?
This marks the first-ever mobile test for My Time at Sandrock. The developers are treating it as a technical trial to ensure the game's expansive world runs smoothly on mobile devices. They're still fine-tuning aspects like resource loading and optimization, so you might encounter a few hiccups along the way.
The beta test is exclusively for Android users and will be conducted through the Haoyou Kuaibao platform. If you're in China, you have until January 22nd to sign up. The test itself starts on January 23rd. Keep in mind that your saves will be wiped once the test concludes. However, you'll have the chance to start anew and explore the first 30 days of in-game content, which covers the initial 13 chapters. If you're interested and located in China, be sure to visit the official beta test page.
What’s the Story?
Set in a post-apocalyptic desert 300 years after the catastrophic Day of Calamity, which obliterated modern technologies, My Time at Sandrock places you in the role of the town's newest Builder. Your mission involves gathering resources, crafting machines, befriending the quirky locals, and even battling monsters. The game's art style is delightfully quirky and charming, as you can see in the trailer below:
