*R.E.P.O.* is an engaging, cooperative horror game that challenges up to six players to navigate through various maps, collect valuables, and safely extract them. To ensure that your efforts are not lost, understanding how to save your game in *R.E.P.O.* is crucial.
How To Save Your Game in R.E.P.O.
One of the most frustrating experiences in gaming is expecting your latest progress to be saved, only to find out it hasn't been. This is particularly common with new games where autosave features might not be as straightforward, and manual save options may be absent or unclear.
In *R.E.P.O.*, it's essential to remember that the game autosaves only when you complete a level. There is no option for manual saving. If you exit during a retrieval mission or if you die (which sends you to the Disposal Arena), your progress will be lost, and you'll need to restart from the beginning of that level. Death in *R.E.P.O.* results in the deletion of your save file, and leaving a location prematurely means you'll have to start that level over.
To save your game, you must successfully finish a level by taking your valuables to the Extraction Point. Then, enter or return to the truck and press the message button above your head to signal the AI boss, the Taxman, that you're ready to head to the Service Station. At the Service Station, you can shop and then use the same button to proceed to the next level.

When you or the host (if another player created the save file) restart the game, you can resume *R.E.P.O.* as usual. It's important for the host to exit at the correct time to ensure the game saves properly, as other players will be disconnected when the host quits.
