Hollow Knight: Silksong Absent from Gamescom 2024 Opening Night Live
Geoff Keighley, producer of Gamescom Opening Night Live 2024, confirmed via Twitter (now X) that the highly anticipated Hollow Knight: Silksong will not be featured at the event. This news brought disappointment to many fans.
Initial excitement surged when Keighley revealed the Gamescom ONL lineup, including a "+ More" section hinting at unannounced games. This fueled speculation that Silksong, absent from updates for over a year, might finally receive some attention.
However, Keighley later clarified on Twitter (X), stating definitively: "No Silksong on Tuesday at ONL." He reassured fans that Team Cherry remains actively developing the game.
While Silksong won't be present, the Gamescom ONL still boasts an impressive lineup, including Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Monster Hunter Wilds, Civilization 7, MARVEL Rivals, and others.
