The Sims Marks 25th Anniversary with Free Giveaways

Electronic Arts recently hosted an exciting livestream to gear up fans for the 25th anniversary of The Sims series. The event was packed with announcements about the upcoming gifts and events for The Sims 4 players during this festive period.

The celebration has already kicked off with a new update that addresses several bugs, introduces a sleek redesigned main menu, and enhances overall game optimization. Moreover, the developers have given a fresh look to some classic houses in Willow Creek and Oasis Springs. These updated versions are available immediately for new games, and for those playing with existing saves, the renovated houses can be accessed through the library.

The main festivities will commence on February 4, when The Sims 4 will receive an update featuring over 70 new free items. On the same day, players can dive into the new in-game event, "Blast from the Past," where they can complete straightforward missions to unlock nostalgic retro-style items and collect a new set.

Starting February 6, The Sims 4 will introduce a new season titled Motherlode. Although details about its content are still a mystery, anticipation is high among the community.
