Solaris Joins Battle of Polytopia, Aiming to Incinerate Square!
May 19,2025Author: Jonathan
The Battle of Polytopia has brought the heat with the launch of the fiery Solaris tribe on mobile platforms. Originally introduced on PC a few months ago, Solaris, the blazing counterpart to the icy Polaris tribe, is now set to ignite the Square with their intense presence.
The Solaris Ignites The Battle of Polytopia
With the new Solaris skin, the game transforms ice into blazing infernos, snow into smoldering ash, and tranquil lakes into bubbling pools of lava. Though they share the same roots as Polaris, Solaris brings a fiery twist to their strategic gameplay, shifting from cold-hearted tactics to a more combustible approach.
This update enriches the game's lore, connecting to an eternal war that has devastated countless worlds. Previously, the icy Polaris tribe had encounters with the enigmatic Gaami. Now, the arrival of the Ralmi escalates the tension. Emerging from the depths, the Ralmi, masters of fire, have targeted the Square, beginning their invasion by binding the Solaris and spreading their fiery magic across the land.
Solaris' Fiery Strategies
Solaris introduces unique gameplay mechanics that revolutionize how you navigate the map. They can transform water into solid lava, altering terrain dynamics. Their units, such as the Pyro, leave a trail of flames, while Ash Archers can turn enemy troops to stone. The Steam Wagon offers swift passage over lava rivers, and Lava Banks allow for empire expansion by generating stars through terrain combustion. Witness the power of Solaris in The Battle of Polytopia in the trailer below.
Master new skills like Heatwork for crater-building, Geothermics for harnessing volcanic energy, and Explosives for dramatic effects. Meanwhile, the Ralmi introduce their own formidable tactics, including the Tuagama Lizard and Igmina Crystals.
