Data analysis from TrueTrophies, in partnership with GameInsights, using a sample of over 3.1 million active PSN accounts, confirmed the significant increase (40.14%). The lack of a PS Store sale during the same period strongly suggests the new content was the primary driver of this surge in player engagement. While the much-anticipated photo mode is still absent, and the event is time-limited, the positive community response clearly demonstrates the update's success in rekindling player interest.

The update introduced a temporary summer vacation zone in the Great Desert Oasis, featuring new music and interactive sunbeds. Two thematic outfits were also added to Clyde's shop. Crucially, several bugs were addressed, including a fix for the hair color issue in the Boss Challenge Preset.
