"Stellar Mercenaries Unveils Jupiter Expansion in Vertical-Scrolling Space Shooter"

Stellar Mercenaries has just launched an exhilarating new upgrade, taking the action to the largest planet in our solar system. The Jupiter Expansion is now live, nearly doubling the game's content with more worlds, enemies, and missions than ever before.

For those unfamiliar with the game, Stellar Mercenaries is a thrilling vertical-scrolling action arcade space shooter. Players dive into procedurally generated missions, customize their ships and weapons, and strive to become the most feared mercenary across the solar system.

What's New in the Jupiter Expansion of Stellar Mercenaries?

The expansion transforms Jupiter and its notorious moons—Ganymede, Io, and Europa—into dynamic battlegrounds. Each moon presents unique challenges: Ganymede, a barren wasteland; Io, covered in volcanic debris; and Europa, a frozen and treacherous landscape. Jupiter itself is fraught with storms, adding an extra layer of difficulty to your missions.

Two new factions enter the fray: the Jovian Empire, a formidable military force aiming to dominate the region, and the Pirate Council, a chaotic alliance of outlaws looking to exploit the chaos.

Players can now tackle 50 new missions with diverse objectives, including hyperspace hunting to track elusive targets, piracy missions, escort duties, and train defense scenarios.

The update introduces six new ships to the fleet: the Raider, Goblin, Mako, Boxer, Lightning, and Skybreaker. Alongside these, the arsenal expands with new weapons like the Hyper Velocity Mortar, Plasma Seeker, EMP Rockets, Mauler Cannon, Electron Beam, and Neutron Beam.

There Are New Hazards, Shields, and More

The Jupiter Expansion also introduces Tier 4 shields and armor, enhancing your defensive capabilities. New hazards such as asteroid fields, elite enemy squadrons, and the formidable Pacifier add to the challenge. Some enemy mercenaries have been upgraded, introducing the Nightmare, Riot, and Warhawk classes.

Additionally, the expansion enriches the game with 14 new music tracks and a new side missions system, offering even more depth to your gaming experience.

Don't miss out on the excitement—check out Stellar Mercenaries on the Google Play Store and dive into the vast expanse of the Jupiter Expansion today!
