Nothing's scarier than having your own house cat speak to you in a human language, right? Thankfully, you won't have to deal with that for long if you don't want to. Here's how to change your Palico's language in *Monster Hunter Wilds*.
Changing Your Palico's Language in Monster Hunter Wilds

There are two ways to change your Palico's language in *Monster Hunter Wilds*: through the game settings or through the character creator.
To change the language via game settings, press the Options button to bring up the menu, navigate to the Game Settings option, and then go to the Audio tab. Look for the option labeled Palico Language, where you can choose between:
- Felyne Language: Your Palico will communicate with you in meows and purrs. You'll need to keep an eye on the subtitles to understand what it's saying.
- Set Voice Type: Your Palico will communicate in the same language as your game settings.
Alternatively, you can access the character creator from your tent's menu. While editing your Palico's appearance, you can also select the Felyne Language option. Here, you can adjust the voice pitch and tone to your liking if the current settings aren't to your taste.
This choice has no impact on gameplay, so feel free to pick the option that suits you best. While the Felyne Language might add a cuter and more immersive experience, it can be cumbersome to constantly check subtitles during critical moments. On the other hand, having your Palico speak in your own language can be more convenient, especially during battles. The choice is yours!
