Remember SAOVS, the action RPG by Bandai Namco that was launched in November 2022? Well, SAOVS, also known as Sword Art Online Variant Showdown, has finally made its triumphant return after a 'never-ending maintenance' that began in September 2023. Initially, the maintenance was slated to conclude in the summer of 2024, as announced in August 2023. However, it took the developers over a year to resolve core functionality issues and bring the game back to life.
The re-release introduces Battle Royal Season 1, where four players compete in an arena, and the one with the most knockouts emerges victorious. Assemble your top team, dive into League Matches, and earn Titles and accessories. This exciting season runs until December 30th.
For those loyal players who waited out the maintenance, the Returning Player Campaign offers a special gift: 5 [Sword Spark] Mito Pickup Scout Tickets. Additionally, the Restart Celebration: Six Great Campaigns event is underway, allowing you to earn up to 100 free Scouts, login bonuses, and complete missions for epic rewards. This event continues until January 30th, 2025.
You also have the chance to obtain SSR [Sword Spark] Mito, a Light-elemental fighter, along with the new SSR Ability Cards 'Destroyer of Destiny' and 'Seasoned Comrades.' These are available until January 6th, 2025.
