Sybo Games quietly released a new Subway Surfers title for iOS and Android! Subway Surfers City boasts improved graphics and many features added to the original over the years. Currently in soft launch, it's available in select regions.
It's Friday, and Sybo has a surprise: a new game! While we haven't played it yet, here's what we know from app store listings.
Subway Surfers City appears to be a direct sequel to the original, addressing its aging engine and graphics. It features returning characters, updated hoverboards, and a visual overhaul.
The soft launch is underway: iOS users in the UK, Canada, Denmark, Indonesia, Netherlands, and the Philippines can download it. Android users can access it in Denmark and the Philippines.
A Bold Move?
Sybo's decision to create a sequel to its flagship game is a gamble. The original's Unity engine is showing its age, limiting potential. The stealth launch is an intriguing approach for such a globally popular franchise.
We're eager to see player reception and the game's wider release date. Hopefully, it meets expectations.
