Sydney Sweeney, known for her role in *Madame Web* and HBO’s *Euphoria*, is reportedly in final negotiations to star in the upcoming live-action adaptation of the iconic anime franchise *Mobile Suit Gundam*. This marks another high-profile venture for the actress, who continues to build a diverse filmography across genres.

In February, it was officially announced that the live-action *Mobile Suit Gundam* film had entered production, with Bandai Namco and Legendary Entertainment co-financing the project. The movie, which currently does not have an official title, will be written and directed by Kim Mickle, best known as the showrunner of *Sweet Tooth*. It is set for a global theatrical release, although no specific release date has been revealed yet.

A teaser poster has already been released, offering fans a first glimpse into the ambitious project. Her recent projects include *The White Lotus*, *Reality*, and *Anyone but You*, following her lead role in *Madame Web*, which unfortunately did not perform well critically or commercially.

Sweeney has also recently signed on to produce and star in a horror film based on a viral Reddit thread, showcasing her interest in unique and fan-driven storytelling.
