Strategic Use of Tarot Cards

Due to their unpredictable nature, it's advisable to use Tarot Cards in a safe zone, such as near a hiding spot or the map's entrance. This precaution minimizes the risk associated with negative card draws, like the dreaded Death card.

Card Mechanics

Each card triggers an immediate effect upon use. However, there's a chance of drawing "The Fool," a wildcard resulting in no effect. Up to ten cards can be drawn without impacting sanity. Duplicate cards yield the same effect.

Tarot Card Breakdown

The game features ten unique Tarot Cards, each with distinct effects and draw probabilities:

Cursed Possessions (or Cursed Objects) are high-risk items found randomly in Phasmophobia contracts. Unlike standard equipment, they offer powerful ghost manipulation but pose significant danger to players. Their use is entirely optional. Only one spawns per contract (unless modified in Custom settings), always in a fixed location. Seven Cursed Possessions exist in the game.

This concludes our guide to using Tarot Cards in Phasmophobia. For more Phasmophobia guides and news, including achievement and trophy information, check The Escapist.
