A long-awaited Christmas miracle has arrived for Team Fortress 2 fans! Valve has unexpectedly released a new comic for the popular team-based shooter. The announcement appeared on the official game website.
Titled "The Days Have Worn Away," this is the seventh numbered issue and the 29th overall release, encompassing event and themed stories. The release marks a significant seven-year gap since the last TF2 comic in 2017.
Valve playfully acknowledged the extended wait, likening the comic's creation to the building of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. They humorously pointed out that while the tower's builders didn't live to see its completion, TF2 players "only" had to wait seven years.

The new comic offers a comprehensive and satisfying conclusion to the storyline. Hints suggest this may be the final installment. Erik Wolpaw's tweet on X, referencing "the very last meeting for the Team Fortress 2 comic," strongly implies this.
