Combat involves a unique mechanic: climbing onto these massive foes for intense, close-quarters battles.
While the game's visuals are undeniably impressive, its narrative lacks a compelling hook. Recent soulslike titles have successfully reimagined classic stories like "Journey to the West" and "Pinocchio," offering fresh perspectives. However, Tides of Annihilation's Arthurian theme feels somewhat overused, preventing it from standing out despite its visual appeal. The familiar storyline unfortunately detracts from the overall experience.
