Tinkatink Debuts in Pokémon Go for Pokémon Horizons: Season 2 Celebration

Jul 16,2025 Author: Nathan

The Horizons Celebration is back in *Pokémon GO*, and it’s bringing something shiny, smashing, and unmistakably pink — Tinkatink has officially made its debut! For the very first time, Tinkatink, along with its evolutions Tinkatuff and Tinkaton, is now available during this special event running from April 16th to April 22nd, 2025.

Those tiny hammers Tinkatink and its evolved forms carry? They’re not just for looks. Tinkaton is famously known for launching rocks at Corviknight, and now players can evolve their own by collecting Candy throughout the event week. To reach the final evolution, you’ll need approximately 125 Tinkatink Candy — so get catching!

A Fresh Costumed Twist

Alongside Tinkatink’s debut, there’s a stylish surprise waiting for trainers. Floragato will appear wearing a special hat featuring Liko’s pin. You can encounter this costumed Pokémon in the wild, hatch it from Eggs, or even face off against it in Raid Battles. If you're feeling lucky, there's also a chance to spot a Shiny version of this uniquely dressed Floragato.

Additional featured Pokémon include Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat and Charcadet, both appearing more frequently in the wild. Trainers should keep an eye out as these and other Paldea region favorites make their presence known.

Paldea Pokémon Invade the Wild

Several popular Paldea starters like Fuecoco, Sprigatito, Quaxly, and Pawmi are now wandering the wilds of *Pokémon GO*. Meanwhile, 7 km Eggs have received a fresh update, offering familiar faces such as Hatenna and Elekid — and yes, there’s a chance one might hatch into a Tinkatink!

Don’t forget to take snapshots during the event — because you never know who might photo-bomb your picture. Some Horizons characters and their Pokémon could pop into frame unexpectedly, giving you rare opportunities for memorable captures.

Battle Bonanzas & Special Moves

On the battle front, Pikachu in Cap’s hat brings a powerful move: Volt Tackle. It’s a great addition to any trainer’s lineup. Raids are also getting a boost with appearances from Charizard, Metagross, Alolan Muk, and multiple encounters with Floragato.

For those hunting bonuses, Team GO Rocket balloons will appear more frequently during the event. Additionally, Egg hatch distances are halved, while Shiny encounter rates and Stardust rewards are temporarily increased — making it the perfect time to power up and expand your collection.

Research Opportunities & Exclusive Rewards

Trainers can look forward to new Field Research tasks and both free and paid Timed Research options. Completing these may earn you exclusive rewards, including a special avatar pose that’s only available during the Horizons Celebration.

If you want to stock up ahead of the event, consider purchasing the **Celebration Event Ultra Ticket Box** from the *Pokémon GO* Web Store for $4.99. It includes useful items to help you maximize your experience during the celebration.
