If you're still on the hunt for those elusive Celestial Guardians cards, here’s some news that might leave you scrambling again. The upcoming Extradimensional Crisis expansion is set to release on May 29, bringing with it a fresh batch of creatures to collect. This time around, the spotlight shines on the bizarre Ultra Beasts—otherworldly beings who made their debut as interdimensional intruders in Pokémon Sun and Moon. Confirmed cards include powerful Pokémon like Buzzwole ex, Blacephalon, Nihilego, and Guzzlord ex. Fans can also expect more Alola region Pokémon, along with the peculiar Type: Null, which may hint at the arrival of its evolved form, Silvally.
A new expansion always brings excitement beyond the cards themselves, and Extradimensional Crisis is no exception. Starting May 29, collectors can score an Ultra Beast-themed binder cover by trading in shop tickets. Additionally, a floral display board will be available for purchase using event tickets from the upcoming Wonder Pick event kicking off June 11.
Since its launch last year, Pokémon TCG Pocket has been releasing expansions consistently, keeping players engaged. Extradimensional Crisis marks the seventh expansion overall and the fourth smaller booster pack release following Mythical Island, Triumphant Light, and Shining Revelry. For now, all expansions remain active and accessible within the game. But as the collection grows, so does the challenge of completing sets—time will tell which ones stick around and which might eventually fade away.
