Pokémon NO LIMIT! Summer Splash Parade Hits USJ

Use 'Water Gun' in Real Life

The dynamic partnership between The Pokémon Company and Universal Studios Japan is reaching new heights with the NO LIMIT! Summer Splash Parade. This year's event elevates the original NO LIMIT! Parade by introducing an exhilarating water-focused theme that's set to make a splash all summer long.

The collaboration, which kicked off in 2021, aimed to forge a "creative alliance" dedicated to crafting "new interactive entertainment combining innovative technology and extraordinary creativity." The initial NO LIMIT! Parade showcased impressive floats featuring iconic Pokémon like Charizard and Pikachu, captivating audiences as they paraded around the park. Now, the parade is evolving into a fully immersive water experience.

The Pokémon Company's dedication to authenticity is evident in their efforts to bring Pokémon to life as realistically as possible. For instance, the debut of Gyarados at USJ is a testament to this commitment. Three performers synchronize their movements to deliver a performance reminiscent of a dragon dance, capturing the Pokémon's fierce essence.

The parade promises to soak guests with more than just Pokémon; characters from Super Mario, Despicable Me, Sesame Street, Peanuts, and Sing will also join the fun. But it's not just about getting drenched—guests are invited to be active participants. On hot days, they can venture into the "360° Soak Zone," where they can use complimentary Water Shooters to engage in a playful water battle with family, friends, and parade performers.

Beyond the parade, the event offers a deeper dive into the Pokémon universe with exclusive merchandise and a summer-themed menu. One highlight is the "Gyarados Whirling Smoothie – Soda & Pineapple," served in cups featuring the park's largest sleeve ever, adorned with a striking image of Gyarados.

The NO LIMIT! Summer Splash Parade runs from July 3 to September 1, while the 360° Soak Zone is available until August 22. Whether it's your first visit or a return trip, The Pokémon Company promises that every experience will be "amazingly exciting, deeply moving, and always memorable."
