经典格斗游戏《Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O》登陆Steam！
SEGA宣布，《Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O》将于今年冬季登陆Steam平台，这是Virtua Fighter系列首次登陆Steam！这款备受期待的重制版，是已有18年历史的《Virtua Fighter 5》的第五个主要版本。虽然具体发售日期尚未公布，但SEGA已确认将在冬季推出。
SEGA将《Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O》誉为“经典3D格斗游戏的终极重制版”。游戏将采用回滚网络代码，即使网络条件不佳也能保证流畅的在线对战体验。此外，游戏还支持4K分辨率画面，拥有更新的高清纹理，并将帧率提升至60fps，带来更流畅、更精美的游戏体验。
游戏保留了排名赛、街机模式、训练模式和对战模式等经典模式，并新增了两个全新模式：自定义在线锦标赛和联赛模式（最多支持16名玩家），以及观战模式，让玩家可以观摩其他玩家的比赛，学习新的技巧。
《Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O》的YouTube预告片获得了玩家的积极评价，许多玩家表示期待在PC平台上体验这款游戏。当然，也有一些玩家仍在期待《Virtua Fighter 6》的到来。
此前，SEGA曾暗示正在开发《Virtua Fighter 6》。然而，11月22日，《Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O》在Steam上架，其升级的画面、新的模式和回滚网络代码，让玩家们对这款重制版充满期待。
《Virtua Fighter 5》最初于2006年7月在SEGA Lindbergh街机平台上推出，之后于2007年移植到PS3和Xbox 360平台。游戏设定为“第五届世界格斗大赛”，玩家可以选择17名（原版）或19名（后续版本）格斗家进行战斗。
