Start your journey by accepting the side quest “Lackey,” which you can pick up from Zlata at Gamemaster Vostatek’s residence, located to the west of Tachov. Alternatively, you can initiate the quest by speaking with Vitek, who is southeast of the house, as marked by the 'B' on the map. This sets you on a path northward, where you'll encounter Vostatek being attacked by wolves. Your intervention here is crucial to save him.

Searching for Pepik in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
After rescuing Vostatek from the wolves, he'll ask you to help him reach his camping spot where he left his horse, Pepik. Follow his directions carefully, keeping an eye on your stamina to ensure you don't drop him along the way.
Upon arriving at the camp, you'll discover that Pepik is missing. Your next task is to track down Pepik by following the clues scattered along the path. Each clue you approach will prompt you to examine it closely. Continue following the trail until you reach a poacher's camp.

As Vostatek feared, Pepik has been taken by poachers in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. You'll find him at the rear of their camp. Fortunately, the poachers tend to move around, allowing you to engage them in smaller groups. It's easier to take down those patrolling the edges of the camp, and many will surrender before you finish them off. You can bypass the tougher opponents in the center of the camp by quickly mounting Pepik and escaping before they can react. Note that you won't have the chance to rest between rescuing Vostatek and finding Pepik, so your health might be compromised depending on the outcome of the wolf encounter.
Once you've secured Pepik, return him to Vostatek’s camp. Upon speaking with Vostatek, you'll have the option to ride back to his home with him, which serves as a fast travel method. At his home, you'll be rewarded with Groschen and a permanent place to stay.
With Pepik safely returned to Vostatek in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, you're now free to pursue other quests, explore romantic storylines, or invest in new equipment with the money you've earned.
*Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.*
