War Thunder's "Firebirds" Update: New Aircraft and More!

Gaijin Entertainment has just announced the upcoming "Firebirds" update for War Thunder, arriving in early November. This major update boasts a wealth of new aircraft, ground vehicles, and warships, promising exciting new gameplay experiences.

New Aircraft Taking Flight

The "Firebirds" update introduces several iconic aircraft, including the stealthy American F-117 Nighthawk, the powerful Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber, and the versatile F-15E Strike Eagle.

  • F-117A Nighthawk: This is War Thunder's first stealth aircraft, utilizing unique design and materials to evade radar and infrared detection. Its angular shape, radar-absorbing materials, and shielded engines made it a near-invisible force during Operation Desert Storm.

  • F-15E Strike Eagle: An enhanced F-15 variant, the Strike Eagle prioritizes firepower. Boasting a 50% larger payload capacity than its predecessor, it's equipped with a ground target detection radar and an arsenal of weaponry, including AGM-65 Maverick missiles, laser-guided bombs, JDAMs, and even the GBU-39 satellite-guided bombs (20 at a time!).

Ground and Naval Forces Join the Fray

Beyond the impressive aircraft additions, the "Firebirds" update also strengthens the ground and naval forces. New additions include the agile British FV107 Scimitar light tank and the formidable French Dunkerque battleship.

Aces High Season Continues

The "Aces High" season is currently underway, offering players opportunities to unlock unique vehicles, trophies, and rewards through season and Battle Pass completion. Rewards include aircraft such as the Bf 109 G-14, F2G-1, and La-11, along with powerful platoons (T54E2, G6) and ships (HMS Orion, USS Billfish).

Download War Thunder Mobile today from the Google Play Store and prepare for takeoff with the "Firebirds" update!
