Application Description
WOE is a real-time strategy (RTS) mobile game featuring intense player-versus-player (PVP) competitive gameplay.
War of Empire Conquest (WOE) is a real-time competitive (PVP) mobile strategy game. One player creates a match, which others can join to battle it out. All units and buildings are under direct player control, offering a high degree of tactical freedom.
Main Elements:
WOE simulates 18 powerful medieval empires and civilizations, including China, Japan, Persia, the Teutonic Order, Mongolia, the Goths, the Maya, and more.
Each Empire fields 8 types of standard units and 1 unique unit. The standard units are common to all, while each Empire's distinctive unit sets it apart—such as Mongolian Riders, Persian War Elephants, or Spanish Conquistadors.
The standard units include:
1. Swordsman: A common frontline infantry unit.
2. Pikeman: Weak against arrows but effective against Cavalry.
3. Archer: Vulnerable to Cavalry but strong against Pikemen.
4. Light Cavalry: Fast and mobile, ideal for raiding and harassment.
5. Ram: A siege unit specialized for attacking buildings.
…
Buildings: Towers, Turrets, Castles, Blacksmiths, and more.
1. Tower: Primarily defensive. When garrisoned with 5 Villagers, it can fire 6 arrows simultaneously.
2. Turret: A siege weapon designed to destroy enemy structures.
…
Each Empire in the game has its own strengths and weaknesses. Players can explore detailed profiles for each one in-game. Here's a brief overview:
1. Huns: Do not need to build houses, saving significant time. Their Cavalry costs 20% less resources and can be upgraded to Rangers.
2. Teutons: Their infantry is exceptionally powerful, reminiscent of historical Spartan warriors, but they move slowly.
…
Highlights:
Core Gameplay: After a match begins, players must manage multiple tasks simultaneously:
1. Economic Development: Continuously produce Villagers to gather resources (Note: Town Centers and Towers can act as temporary shelters for them).
2. Enemy Harassment: Early on, train a small force to raid enemy Villagers and gain an advantage.
3. Destroy the Enemy.
Success often hinges on teamwork. Cooperate with allies to form legions, defeat larger enemy forces, and protect high-damage, low-health allied units.
Additionally, mastering unit counters and team coordination is crucial:
Learn the value of each unit. Key counter relationships include:
1. Pikemen counter Cavalry.
2. Cavalry counter Archers.
3. Archers counter Pikemen.
4. Camel Riders counter Cavalry.
5. Koryo War Wagons counter all other ranged units.
…
Game Modes:
Two primary resources exist: Food and Gold. Players advance their Town Center through ages—Dark Age, Feudal Age, Castle Age, and Imperial Age—to unlock new technologies, buildings, and units.
The full game is deep and requires study. For simplicity, common gameplay is divided into four modes, with the most popular being Standard and Imperial:
1. Standard Mode: Resources are limited, prioritizing early economic development. Players can send small raiding parties early on. This mode is complex but highly engaging.
2. Imperial Deathmatch: Start in the Imperial Age with a large stockpile of resources, allowing for immediate, large-scale battles.
…
