麻痺したステータスは、攻撃や退却を防ぎ、1回のターンに対戦相手のアクティブなポケモンを動かさないようにします。 この効果は、相手の次のターンが始まる前に自動的に消散します。
麻痺したものと眠っている両方とも、攻撃や後退を防ぎます。ただし、睡眠中に麻痺した麻痺は自動的に解決しますが、回復のためにコインフリップまたは戦略的介入（進化や強制的な後退など）が必要です。
フルヒールのようなカードが麻痺を治すことができる物理TCGとは異なり、ポケモンTCGポケットには現在直接カウンターがありません。コアメカニック（1ターンの不動性）は一貫性を備えています。
