Clash of Clans, a staple in the mobile gaming community, is poised for a significant transformation by eliminating troop training times entirely. This change will allow players to deploy their army almost instantly, accelerating the pace of battle like never before. However, players should be mindful of their Training Potions and Treats; it's crucial to use them before the update, as they will soon be converted to Gems.
While Clash of Clans has undoubtedly aged, Supercell has been actively modernizing the game to keep it fresh and engaging for its dedicated fanbase. The removal of troop, spell, and siege unit training times marks one of the most substantial updates yet, following the elimination of training costs in 2022.
As of now, Training Potions and Training Treats will no longer be available through in-app purchases or chest rewards. They can still be obtained via the Trader and Gold Pass temporarily, but it's a use-it-or-lose-it scenario, as they'll be converted to Gems by the end of the month.
To aid players in adapting to this new system, Supercell is introducing a feature called "Match Anytime." This allows you to attack a snapshot of another player's base when real opponents are unavailable. You'll earn rewards without affecting the resources of the player whose base snapshot is used. This feature, already utilized in Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, will now be a standard option.
Be on the lookout for additional changes, such as the new requirement of Elixirs or Dark Elixirs for Army Donations. For a comprehensive overview of these updates and more, visit the Supercell blog.
