Cyberpunk 2077 got patch 2.21, added NVIDIA DLSS 4 and got even more technologically advanced

Cyberpunk 2077 receives a significant update (2.21) from CD Projekt RED, incorporating cutting-edge NVIDIA technology and numerous bug fixes.

A key feature of this update is the integration of DLSS 4 support. GeForce RTX 50 series card owners will experience a substantial performance boost, generating extra frames. This enhancement will be available from January 30th. DLSS 4 also improves frame generation speed on RTX 40 and 50 series cards while optimizing memory usage.

Furthermore, all GeForce RTX graphics cards now offer a choice between the convolutional neural network and the new transform model for DLSS Ray Reconstruction, DLSS Super Resolution, and DLAA. The transform model delivers superior lighting, enhanced detail, and improved image stability.

This update also addresses several critical issues:

  • Resolved glitches causing communication failures with certain vendors.
  • Fixed audio problems related to TV news broadcasts, addressing missing or low volume issues.
  • Corrected an infrequent appearance issue with Johnny Silverhand in the passenger seat.
  • Addressed a bug where items vanished when hiding nearby characters.
  • Eliminated game freezes that occurred when simultaneously entering photo mode and accessing a closet or stash.
  • Enabled the inclusion of Nibbles and Adam Smasher in Photo Mode shots, even when Vee is in the air or water.
  • Improved the functionality of Adam Smasher's facial expression changes within Photo Mode.

This update significantly enhances the Cyberpunk 2077 experience, particularly for players with compatible NVIDIA hardware.
