DbD Junji Ito Collection Features Terrifying New Skins From Several of His Famous Works

The asymmetrical horror multiplayer game, Dead by Daylight (DbD), is thrilled to announce an exclusive collaboration with renowned Japanese horror manga artist, Junji Ito! This "ultimate horror collaboration" brings eight chilling new skins inspired by Ito's iconic works to the game.

A Collection of Nightmares

For 40 years, Junji Ito has captivated audiences worldwide with his unique, macabre storytelling and surrealist art style. Now, his terrifying creations are coming to life in Dead by Daylight.

The collection features skins based on Ito's masterpieces, including "Tomie," "Hanging Balloons," and "Rumors." Killers receiving new skins include The Dredge, The Trickster, The Twins, The Spirit, and The Artist. The Spirit and The Artist will boast Legendary rarity skins, complete with updated audio and sound effects. Specifically, The Spirit will sport a Tomie skin, while The Artist will transform into Miss Fuchi from "Rumors." Survivors Yui Kimura, Yun-Jin Lee, and Kate Denson also receive new cosmetic additions.

Junji Ito himself was involved in the creation process, expressing his delight at seeing his characters realized in the game. In a video shared on Dead by Daylight's official X (formerly Twitter) account, he commented on how his creations became even more terrifying within the Dead by Daylight universe. He even participated in a gameplay session, playing as The Artist with her Miss Fuchi skin.

The Junji Ito Collection will be available starting January 7th, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Prepare for a truly terrifying gaming experience!
