Dragonkin: The Banished A New Era Begins with Demo and Extensive Update Plans

Eko Software and NACON have released a demo and detailed roadmap for the early access launch of their action RPG, Dragonkin: The Banished. Available now until March 3rd, 2025, as part of Steam Next Fest, the demo features the prologue and first chapter. Players can choose from three unique heroes—the Knight, the Oracle, and the Barbarian—each embarking on a thrilling adventure. They'll be aided by four Vermplings, cooperative companions who join the fight. The innovative Bloodline Grid skill progression system, endgame hunting quests, and initial hub city upgrades are also included.

The developers have ambitious plans for the coming year. Spring updates will introduce new abilities, enhanced endgame content, a brand-new endgame activity, and improved hub city features. Summer will bring a new hero, additional skills, and expanded endgame challenges. Autumn’s update is a major one: the addition of multiplayer support, alongside continued refinements to the Bloodline Grid and hub city.

In Dragonkin: The Banished, players explore a world corrupted by ancient dragon blood. They guide a legendary warrior on a quest to defeat monstrous creatures rising from the earth and confront the powerful Dragonlords behind the chaos. Character growth, equipment upgrades, and Vermpling evolution are key to progression, all enhanced by the strategic customization options of the Bloodline Grid system.

Dragonkin: The Banished enters Steam Early Access on March 6th, 2025, with a full release planned for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
