In Freedom Wars Remastered, tweaking your loadout is key to mastering operations. While your weapons and Thrones are staples of your build, Combat Items are the consumable gems that offer versatile benefits, albeit in limited quantities.
You'll pick up additional Combat Items as you complete operations, but the supply might not always meet your needs for the next mission. Initially, you're limited to equipping just one Combat Item at a time, but don't worry—we've got solutions to expand your arsenal.
How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
To equip more Combat Items, you'll need to secure the right Entitlements. From your cell, interact with the Window On Liberty and choose "Claim Entitlements". Navigate to the Equipment section, and you'll find the One-Item Permit at the top. Progressing down the list, you can unlock up to four permits, allowing you to equip a total of four Combat Items.
These story-driven Entitlements become accessible early on, and by the time you hit CODE level 3, you can purchase all four. Note that subsequent permits only become visible after you've acquired the one before it. When you equip a Combat Item like a Frag Grenade, you'll have access to your entire stack at the start of the Operation.
Additionally, your Accessory can hold one Combat Item, which it will use at its discretion.
Where To Get More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
As you advance past the initial missions in the main storyline, you'll unlock The Warren, a HUB area. Here, you'll find Zakka, a store located on the upper level along the right side. Alongside weapons, you can select the "Buy Items" option to browse the Munitions and Medical Supplies categories.
- Munitions - These are your go-to for direct enemy damage in combat.
- Medical Supplies - Essential for healing, curing ailments, and refilling ammunition.
Remember, each Combat Item has an individual price tag, and stocking up on items like Medkits can quickly drain your Entitlement Points. While Operations may reward you with Combat Items, this isn't a reliable farming method due to the time and potential resource expenditure. Consider donating old resources to boost your Entitlement Points for those critical purchases.
