Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7: "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn" Launches, Concluding the Penacony Chapter

Honkai: Star Rail's Version 2.7 update, titled "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn," has arrived, bringing the Penacony chapter to a close. This update introduces new characters, events, and features before the Astral Express journeys to Amphoreus, the Eternal Land.

This major update features two new 5-star characters:

• Sunday: A 5-star Imaginary character focused on team synergy. His abilities boost ally damage and summon damage, with his ultimate providing regeneration and further damage amplification.
• Fugue: A reimagined 5-star Fire version of Tingyun. Mastering enemy defense shattering, her skills weaken opponents and increase squadmates' Break Effect damage.

The limited Warp event also features the return of popular characters Jing Yuan and Firefly. Version 2.7 also adds new in-game features, including a relaxing Party Car and customizable Trailblazer quarters accessible through the Cosmic Home Décor Guide event.

Players can also claim free rewards by redeeming Honkai: Star Rail codes.

Future updates, including Version 3.0, promise further improvements such as Relic system refinements, the Path of Remembrance storyline continuation, and new content like memosprites. A free 5-star character is available through the Gift of the Express event, lasting until Version 3.2.
