Infinity Nikki provides compensation for version 1.5’s troubled launch. Discover what players will receive to address the game’s flaws and Infold Games’ next steps.
Infinity Nikki Version 1.5 Developments
Free Diamonds Offered as Apology
Infinity Nikki’s version 1.5 launched with high expectations, but Infold Games fell short on promised features. In a May 18 post on X, the developer acknowledged the “unstable gameplay and disappointing content” and announced compensation for players.
The update introduced numerous technical glitches and bugs across platforms, some severe enough to make the game unplayable. Unexpected system changes also raised the cost of 5-star outfits from 9 or 10 pieces to 11, increasing the maximum pulls needed to 220. This made completing outfits more costly and time-intensive for players.
A new dye system added further frustration, requiring players to unlock color palettes for each clothing item, which many found complex and cumbersome. The Threads of Reunion storyline was also removed, as its associated outfit remains unfinished. “Technical challenges in version 1.5 hindered our ability to polish the Sea of Stars chapter and Threads of Reunion narrative, causing confusion,” Infold Games explained.
In response to player feedback, Infold Games announced, “To address version 1.5’s issues and schedule shifts, all players will receive 120 Diamonds and 1 Energy Crystal daily from June 5 to June 12, totaling 960 Diamonds and 8 Energy Crystals.”
Despite the compensation, Infold Games has not detailed plans to resolve these issues. Players flooded the comments with concerns about the pity system changes, dye system flaws, persistent bugs, and more.
Version 1.6 Postponed
Due to version 1.5’s troubled rollout, Infold Games extended its duration to tackle ongoing issues. As a result, version 1.6 is now delayed until June 12, 2025, impacting in-game event schedules.
The new weekly task, Starlit Pursuit, originally set for May 20, is now postponed to version 1.6. Infold Games noted, “This delay ensures we can refine task mechanics for a better experience. Further details will be shared soon—stay tuned.” Players will receive 360 Starlit Crystals as compensation for the delay.
Additional Changes in Progress
Version 1.5’s issues run deeper than reported, with Infold Games admitting, “We’re discussing further adjustments not yet listed. Some changes demand longer development cycles, but we’re committed to rolling them out in phases.”
To enhance player communication, Infold Games is launching the Miraland Round Table initiative. Players can share feedback by emailing the game’s official account with “Table Advisor” in the subject line or using the in-game Customer Service feature.
Infold Games expressed “regret for unfulfilled promises but gratitude for your continued support.” They vowed to make Infinity Nikki “shine brighter than ever.” The game is available on PlayStation 5, iOS, Android, and PC. For the latest updates, check out our article below!
