Introducing Letterlike: The Wordle-Esque Game Inspired by Scrabble

Wordsmiths, rejoice! A new roguelike word game, Letterlike, is here, blending the best of Balatro and Scrabble. Prepare for a unique fusion of vocabulary and unpredictable roguelike gameplay – a combination rarely seen!

Crafting Words in Letterlike

Letterlike's roguelike nature ensures each playthrough offers a fresh challenge with procedurally generated letter sets and obstacles. The possibilities are endless, leading to countless victories.

Each game begins with a set of letters. Your objective: create meaningful words, earn points, and conquer levels. Each level consists of three rounds.

To progress, you must accumulate sufficient points by forming high-scoring words, reminiscent of Scrabble. However, you only have five attempts (lives) per round, demanding strategic wordplay.

Facing a less-than-ideal letter combination? Don't despair! You can discard letters, but this option is limited, so choose wisely.

A handy rearrange mode allows you to drag, drop, and shuffle letters to optimize your word creation.

The final round of each level introduces a twist: certain letters become useless, yielding zero points.

Earned points and rewards unlock helpful items to enhance future runs. Some buffs are automatically applied, while others require reaching specific levels. Collected gems also facilitate powerful upgrades, easing subsequent challenges.

Ready to Play?

Letterlike offers a simple, minimalist, yet engaging experience. The game allows replaying specific runs with friends using shared seeds – perfect for sharing those frustrating letter combinations!

Enjoy an ad-free experience with a one-time purchase, and the added bonus of offline play. A free demo is available, allowing you to test the waters before committing. Find Letterlike on the Google Play Store and give the demo a try.
