Marvel Rivals welcomes an unexpected crossover: the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel's Spider-Man 2!
PlayStation announced this exciting collaboration on X/Twitter, showcasing NetEase Games' rendition of this iconic suit for their hero shooter. This sleek Spider-Man suit, originally designed by Insomniac Games for Marvel's Spider-Man, has appeared in all three games of the series. Its distinctive white spider emblem makes it instantly recognizable. This surprise partnership with Sony and their console-exclusive superhero game is a significant event for Marvel Rivals. The Advanced Suit 2.0 will be available in the in-game store starting January 30th, coinciding with Marvel's Spider-Man 2's PC release.

Marvel Rivals, launched in December, already boasts a wide array of unlockable suits. However, this Spidey suit stands out. Its connection to the popular PlayStation series, and the return of Yuri Lowenthal as the voice of Spider-Man (Peter Parker), adds a special touch. Lowenthal voiced Peter Parker in all three Insomniac Spider-Man games and lends his voice to Marvel Rivals' version as well.
NetEase's inclusion of the Advanced Suit 2.0 provides players with another exciting addition to the game's content, especially following the launch of Season 1: Eternal Night Falls. This season introduced Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman as playable characters, with The Thing and Human Torch arriving shortly. Creative director Guangyun Chen has also promised at least one new hero every month and a half.
