Obtaining the Music Box

Like other cursed items in Phasmophobia, the Music Box has a 1/7 chance of appearing on any given map. Its spawn is entirely random; there's no guaranteed method to obtain it. Only one Music Box can spawn per game. Once located, interact with it to pick it up, then interact again to activate it.

Using the Music Box

Several strategies revolve around the Music Box. Upon activation, it plays a melody. If a ghost is within 20 meters, it will "sing along," revealing its proximity. Within 5 meters, the ghost will approach the Box. You can strategically place the activated Box on the ground to lure the ghost. The music stops automatically upon completion.
