Unlock the Free "Photograph" Emote in Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.18!
A delightful addition to Final Fantasy XIV's social features is the new "Photograph" emote, a collaborative effort with Fujifilm Instax. This guide shows you how to obtain and use this charming emote.
Unlike many emotes requiring quests or purchases, the "Photograph" emote is readily available after downloading Patch 7.18. No level or expansion is needed; simply update your game, and it's yours!
Using the Emote:
Access your Emote menu ("Social" tab), locate "Photograph" under the "General" tab, and press. Your character will strike a pose and snap a Polaroid-style picture! Add it to your Favorites for easy access.
This dynamic emote works in various locations: underwater (like the Ruby Sea), while mounted (both grounded and flying), offering creative photographic opportunities. It's a fun, non-continuous emote perfect for capturing memorable moments.
Patch 7.18 precedes the major Patch 7.2 (late March), bringing new dungeons, the Arcadion's return, Cosmic Exploration, and more. Enjoy this new emote while you await the larger update!
