In their statement on the official Pokémon website, The Pokémon Company (TPC) expressed awareness of the challenges fans are facing in purchasing certain Pokémon TCG products due to overwhelming demand. "We understand this inconvenience can be disappointing for fans, and we are actively working to print more of the impacted Pokémon TCG products as quickly as possible and at maximum capacity to address this," the statement explained. They assured fans that reprints would be available at participating retailers soon.

Moreover, TPC announced plans to maximize production for future TCG expansions to ensure better product availability at launch. They also committed to ongoing reprints of affected products to replenish stock, including at the Pokémon Center.

In an indirect response to scalping, The Pokémon Company emphasized their commitment to a smooth purchasing experience at the Pokémon Center. They currently use a virtual queue system during periods of high site traffic to prioritize fans.
