Nightdive Studios has given new life to a beloved classic by officially rebranding the game as System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster. This eagerly anticipated edition is set to launch on PC (available on Steam and GOG), PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch, expanding its reach to a broader audience.
The much-awaited release date for this remaster will be revealed on March 20, 2025, during the Future Games Show: Spring Showcase. This announcement promises to set the stage for a new generation of gamers to immerse themselves in the legendary sci-fi RPG experience.

Originally debuting in 1999, System Shock 2 was a groundbreaking title that masterfully combined survival horror with intricate RPG mechanics. The remastered version aims to maintain the game's haunting atmosphere while enhancing the experience with updated visuals and technical improvements.
Nightdive Studios, renowned for their work in revitalizing the System Shock series, had initially planned to release this remaster alongside the System Shock remake.
