World of Warcraft Reveals First 6-Month Subscription Offer of 2025

World of Warcraft's latest 6-month subscription reward: Snakes on a Plane (and in Classic!)

World of Warcraft players subscribing for six months or more will receive the Timbered Sky Snake mount (for retail WoW) and the Timbered Air Snakelet pet (for Classic WoW). These rewards, inspired by the 2025 Year of the Wood Snake, will be granted by January 31, 2025, and must be redeemed before January 31, 2026.

This continues a tradition of yearly themed subscription rewards, following 2024's Auspicious Arborwyrm. While included with the six-month subscription, the Timbered Sky Snake and Timbered Air Snakelet are also available for individual purchase at $25 and $10 respectively. A separate Timbered Sky Snakelet pet for retail WoW is also available for $10.

January 2025 Six-Month Subscription Rewards:

• Timbered Sky Snake: Flying mount for World of Warcraft: Dragonflight.
• Timbered Air Snakelet: Pet for Wrath of the Lich King Classic.

Existing subscribers on a qualifying plan will automatically receive the rewards.

12-Month Subscription Bonus:

Twelve-month subscribers receive the above plus the following:

• Retail WoW: Startouched Furline, Gigantic Grrloc, and Charming Courier mounts.
• Classic WoW: Lava Drake mount and Swoopy pet.

This also includes the July 2025 six-month reward, making it a particularly attractive offer for mount collectors.

With major content updates planned for both retail and Classic WoW in 2025, including potential player housing in retail and the progression servers reaching Mists of Pandaria in Classic, now is an opportune time to secure a longer subscription.
