Pikmin Bloom's Earth Day Event: Count Flowers, Not Steps in Party Walk

Pikmin Bloom

Pikmin Bloom is celebrating Earth Day with a fresh twist on its Party Walk event—this time, swapping steps for seeds. If you’re a fan of Niantic’s unique blend of augmented reality and real-world movement, this update brings a new reason to get outdoors and give back to the planet.

When Is the Pikmin Bloom Party Walk?
The Earth Day-themed Official Party Walk runs from April 22nd through April 30th. But instead of counting your steps, you’ll be planting flowers to help reach a global goal. Every bloom you plant adds to the collective total, making your contribution count toward something bigger.

This event perfectly aligns with the spirit of Earth Day—adding more greenery, more purpose, and more fun. And just like previous events, there are in-game rewards tied to how much the global community achieves.

Here’s what players can unlock based on the total number of flowers planted:

  • 500 million flowers: All participants receive a Huge Seedling that grows into a Leaf Hat Decor Pikmin.
  • 1 billion flowers: Unlock the Snow Decor Pikmin.
  • 1.5 billion flowers: Earn a Present Sticker (Gold) Decor Pikmin, available exclusively for White Pikmin.

But Keep This in Mind
To make sure your planted flowers count, you must be signed up for the Party Walk and have updated to version 117 of the Pikmin Bloom app. If you haven’t downloaded it yet, head over to the Google Play Store to get started.

As a bonus, all players will receive a promo code to help kick off the flower-planting challenge. Plus, any type of flower counts—so no need to worry about planting a specific kind. Just start blooming!
