Techland Expands Dying Light 2 with Free Tower Raid Roguelite Mode

Dying Light 2's Tower Raid: A Roguelite Challenge Ascends

Techland expands Dying Light 2 with Tower Raid, a thrilling roguelite mode offering unpredictable gameplay and intense survival challenges. Following extensive testing, this highly anticipated addition provides a completely new way to experience the game's infected world.

Forget Aiden Caldwell; players choose from four unique warrior classes—Tank, Brawler, Ranger, and Specialist—each with distinct abilities encouraging diverse strategies and collaborative gameplay. For a truly hardcore experience, players can tackle the tower with reduced team sizes, or even solo.

Three difficulty levels—Quick, Normal, and Elite—adjust the intensity and duration of each run. Procedural generation ensures every playthrough is unique, with dynamic floor layouts and unpredictable enemy encounters demanding adaptability.

A fresh progression system transforms failure into opportunity. Each failed attempt unlocks new abilities and weapons, steadily increasing chances of success. Deep within the tower, players can encounter Sola, a mysterious merchant offering rare rewards such as the Office Day Outfit, Kuai Dagger, and Silenced Pistol to worthy survivors.

While preparing for the launch of Dying Light: The Beast, Techland remains dedicated to enriching Dying Light 2 throughout 2025. Future updates promise enhanced co-op, improved matchmaking, deeper community map integration, additional Tower Raid characters, new melee and ranged weapons, a revolutionary new weapon class, prologue enhancements, and significant graphical and technical upgrades.
