World of Goo 2 Launches Physics Puzzles on Mobile
Nov 06,2025Author: Joshua
The eagerly anticipated sequel to World of Goo has finally arrived on mobile platforms. 2DBOY and Tomorrow Corporation have officially launched World of Goo 2 across Android, iOS, Steam, and PlayStation 5.
Exciting New Features
World of Goo 2 introduces over 30 brand-new achievements and implements an options menu - a first for any game developed by 2DBOY or Tomorrow Corporation.
The original World of Goo debuted on Windows in October 2008, challenging players to construct bizarre structures using goo balls while battling physics and gravity. This sequel elevates the experience with realistic liquid simulations that flow, splash, and behave like actual viscous fluids.
Players will manipulate liquid like rivers, transform it into Goo Balls, extinguish flames, and solve increasingly complex puzzles. The game introduces innovative Goo types including Jelly Goo, Liquid Launchers, Growing/Shrinking Goo, and even Explosive Goo, creating fresh gameplay dynamics.
Expansive New Content
The sequel features an immersive five-chapter storyline spanning more than 60 carefully crafted levels, each with additional challenges. The narrative encompasses hundreds of thousands of years, following a supposedly eco-conscious company's quest to harvest Goo - though their true motives remain mysterious.
Available now on the Google Play Store for $9.99, World of Goo 2 marks the triumphant return of these beloved sticky creatures. For more gaming updates, check out our coverage of The Roland-Garros eSeries 2025 Finalists.
