Further Dawnwalker Details Coming Soon

Witcher Former Devs' Upcoming Dark Fantasy Action RPG To Be Published by Bandai NamcoThis collaboration, announced earlier this week, positions Bandai Namco as the worldwide publisher for Dawnwalker, the inaugural title in Rebel Wolves' ambitious RPG saga. Launching in 2025 on PC, PS5, and Xbox, Dawnwalker is a mature, story-driven AAA action RPG set in a dark fantasy medieval Europe. Expect more in-depth reveals from Rebel Wolves in the coming months. Founded in 2022 in Warsaw, Poland, Rebel Wolves aims to elevate the RPG genre through compelling narratives.

"Rebel Wolves is a unique blend of seasoned expertise and fresh creative energy," commented Rebel Wolves' chief publishing officer, Tomasz Tinc, in the press release. "Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe, renowned for its commitment to RPGs and its support of new IPs, is the ideal partner. We share a common vision, and their proven success with narrative-driven RPGs makes this a perfect collaboration. We eagerly anticipate working together to bring the first chapter of the Dawnwalker saga to players worldwide."

Bandai Namco views Dawnwalker as a significant addition to its portfolio. Alberto Gonzalez Lorca, VP of business development, stated, "This marks a key step in our content strategy for the Western market. By combining our strengths, we will bring this debut title to a global audience."

Witcher Former Devs' Upcoming Dark Fantasy Action RPG To Be Published by Bandai NamcoLeading the charge as creative director is Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, a CD Projekt Red veteran and lead quest designer on The Witcher 3, who joined Rebel Wolves earlier this year. Co-founder and narrative director Jakub Szamalek, a nine-year CDPR writing veteran, confirms Dawnwalker as a new IP. The game's scope is anticipated to be comparable to The Witcher 3's Blood and Wine expansion, with a focus on non-linear storytelling.

Tomaszkiewicz previously highlighted the game's design philosophy: "We aim to create an experience that offers diverse choices and encourages experimentation upon replay. Collaborating with such a talented team to craft this experience is a privilege, and I'm thrilled for everyone to see the team's hard work."
