The new Iron Man game could be revealed as early as next week

EA Motive and SEED will unveil their groundbreaking "Texture Sets" technology at the Game Developers Conference (GDC), showcasing its application in titles like Dead Space and Iron Man. This innovative approach merges related texture sets into a single resource, streamlining processing and enabling the creation of enhanced textures. EA's lead technical artist, Martin Palko, will lead the presentation, detailing the intricacies of this advanced texturing process.

The demonstration of this new technology could potentially offer a glimpse into the highly anticipated Iron Man game, providing much-needed updates for eager fans. Announced in 2022, the project has remained largely shrouded in secrecy, fueling speculation about its status. However, EA Motive's participation in GDC confirms ongoing development, effectively quashing cancellation rumors. The conference runs from March 17th to 21st, 2025.

Currently, details are limited, but the Iron Man game is confirmed as a single-player RPG featuring an open world and powered by Unreal Engine 5. Furthermore, EA Motive is expected to leverage its experience with Anthem's flight system in the development of Iron Man.
