This week, the developers of InZOI are taking a well-deserved break to celebrate the New Year, enjoying a three-day holiday in South Korea. Before stepping away, project lead Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim took the time to address the community's eagerly awaited feature requests, providing clarity on what players can expect in the upcoming game.

In InZOI, players will have the exciting opportunity to use real facial capture technology to create templates for crafting zois. This feature, which was already highlighted in summer announcements for its convenience, is set to be further streamlined, as emphasized by Kjun. The goal is to make the creation of zois as user-friendly as possible.
For those who love animals, the good news is that players will eventually be able to have their own pets within the game. However, this feature won't be available during the early access phase, so fans will need to exercise a bit of patience. Interestingly, Kjun himself is an avid animal lover, which adds a personal touch to this upcoming feature.
In terms of the game environment, InZOI will include tall buildings, with a maximum height of 30 floors. While the game engine could theoretically support taller constructions, this cap is set to mitigate potential performance issues, ensuring a smoother gameplay experience.
Adding a dynamic element to the gameplay, InZOI will also feature gas stations and fights. Kjun acknowledged that the slap mechanic from earlier previews felt somewhat superficial to players. Responding to this feedback, the game will now include more comprehensive fighting mechanics, complete with clear outcomes determining winners and losers, enhancing the depth of player interactions.
Recognizing that InZOI may attract many newcomers to the genre, the developers are including a tutorial to help ease players into the game. This thoughtful addition is certainly commendable and reflects the team's commitment to player satisfaction.
As of now, Krafton remains on track to release InZOI in early access at the end of March, with no further delays currently anticipated. This update from Kjun not only keeps the community informed but also builds anticipation for the game's launch.
